Meeting with Obama-Appointed US Attorney in California: A Few Thoughts...

Hi, everyone! Last week I had a personal meeting with Obama appointed US Attorney in Eastern California - Benjamin Wagner. And after that meeting one thing in particular totally got me thinking. This isn't something that we discussed during our meeting, but for some reason that is what I want to bring up here on my blog...



And that is the fact that too often we forget how much effort is put into protecting our safety and well-being. It seems like we take what we have for granted and then get all negative about being pulled-over for speeding, about having to go thru extra security points at the airports, about police asking us questions when they see something suspicious and etc. It is all done for OUR safety and for the safety of our families. Police officers risk their lives every day when they come to work. They even risk lives when they simply pull people over for speeding, since no one knows who's sitting in the car. Yet they do that, because speeding KILLS! And I hope more of us were appreciative of everything that's done for us...
